We have been seeing many iPad 3 leaks and information which will really heat up the competition with the Kindle fire and more. Let's look at the iPad 3 rumors that are circulating.
The major feature of the iPad 3 reportedly will be AT&T and Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network connections with a March release date.
Let's review the features of the iPad 3:
- Bigger Battery - a rear case allows for a bigger battery.
- Retina Touchscreen - if a retina display is on the iPad3 it would equal a resolution of 2048 x 1536.
- Updated Cameras - speculators suggest a 3.2-5MP front camera and HD front facing camera for video chat
- 4G LTE - odds are the iPad3 has solid chance of working with 4G LTE networks, which may explain the larger battery.
- 3G Data Support - the WSJ reported that the iPad3 will also be downward compatible with 3G legacy networks.
- New motherboard/chipset - mounts in a leaked case show a different layout and room for a bigger battery.
- Same screen size/shape - the same form factor as previous iPad models is expected.
- iOS5.1 - Apple likes to up the ante with each release, it makes sense that they would load or upgrade to the latest iOS.
- Siri - Siri has grown in popularity, uses a lot of data and has become a Statue of Liberty for iPhones, she may make an appearance on the iPad3, most likely for voice-to-text dictation.
There have also been rumors that suggest an 8" iPad in the works.
With Apple being so profitable many suspect the pricing of the iPad 3 for AT&T or Verizon will be at least $130 more than the Wi-Fi versions.
In case any one is tracking it, if you count the birth date of the iPad as the day it was announced by its father Steve Jobs, then on Friday will be the iPad's second birthday.
Since the 4G LTE information for the iPad 3 has been circulated, now blogger contend that the iPhone 5 will definitely support 4G LTE networks.
The iPad 3 has not been announced by Apple, yet.
